ABSTRACT SUBMISSION

Abstract Guidelines

ABSTRACT SUBMISSION Extended to 12 JULY, 2019


Abstracts no more 250 words


Oral and Poster presentations will be selected from abstracts


Selected Oral presentations will consist of either 10 min oral presentations or 3 min thesis presentations.


Abstract submission will be managed by an external website (Dryfta.org) which requires registration to submit.

As abstract submission and meeting registration are handled separately, please ignore any accompanying message from Dryfta related to registration at the completion of abstract submission- we will cross reference abstract submission with meeting registration.


Following registration, on your dashboard page:

  • Select "My Abstracts"
  • Select "+ Submit Abstracts"
  •  Select Oral or Poster Presentation in "Submission Type"
  • Select the appropriate research category during abstract submission to assist in presentation awards from the drop-down menu:

  1. Honours Student-Research Assistant
  2. Masters Student- 1st Year PhD Student
  3. 2nd Year PhD Student
  4. 3+ Years PhD Student
  5. Post-Doctoral Researcher

  • Choose at least ONE and up to three, "Subject Themes" 
  • "Abstract Title" - do not capitalise title
  • "Abstract" - abstract can be pre-prepared and pasted into text box, however Greek symbols or italicisation may need to be edited using the editing tools available. Do not add figures.
  • The submitting author is the presenting author, the details of which are auto-populated from your registration. Co-authors can be added as necessary but can be kept to a minimum to  acknowledge those directly involved in the research


You must be a registered attendee of the meeting to be considered for an Oral/Poster presentation


Only ASI members are eligible for presentation awards so please consider joining ASI


Registrants will be advised if they have a poster or oral presentation by 2 August 2019
